Thanks for visiting!

Blue Light Sale at WesMon!  Right now we are needing to reduce our herd size so almost all of our horses will be for sale.  The only horses not included are Blue Jeans, Cortez, and Diora.  Buddy is only registered through World Class but the others are A and R and we also have three that are also FMHR (Falabella) registered.  Reasonable offers will be considered.  Buyer will be responsible for all transportation costs and any necessary health papers.  All horses are up to date on worming, farrier work, and annual vaccinations.

2012 All Pets Expo, Morgantown, WV: We would like to thank everyone who stopped by to visit us at the All Pets Expo this weekend (April 13-15). The Expo was a great success and the horses and donkeys enjoyed the people and pets as much as the people and pets enjoyed the horses. We would also like to congratulate Joshua Wentz of Buckhannon, WV, for being the winner in our raffle. Josh is now the proud owner of a WesMon miniature horse. Now he just has to decide if he wants to take Sam or Mia home. Decisions, Decisions! Here he is with Sam and Mia. Our thanks to everyone who made this possible.

Pictures of Renegade are now available. Check him out on our "Boys of WesMon" page.

March 3, 2012: The new stud is here! The new guy in town was picked up yesterday and is getting comfy here in his new home.  His name is RFM King Buckaroos Renegade.  Perhaps a shade off his grandsire, he is a 5 year old, 32" chocolate dapple stallion.  Michael and Francie were very gracious for giving us this opportunity to own a Buckaroo stud.  The weather yesterday was terrible so we didn't get any pictures of him yet but they will be forthcoming.  With the likes of Little Kings, Kokomos, Dell Teras, and Kobecks in his pedigree, we look forward to good things with this guy.  Right now we have to get his paperwork in order then he will be introduced to Velvet - known for her propensity to throw dilute pinto fillies with blue eyes - and with Renegade's dilute gene we are definitely headed in the right direction.  And just a little spoiler. . . .there may be another little something on the way from Michael and Francie!  Keep watching our home page!

March 1, 2012: We have a new stallion!  We will be welcoming this new boy to our herd this weekend.  A true grandson of Boones Little Buckaroo, this boy has an amazing pedigree, top and bottom.  Keep checking back for pictures!

January 7, 2012:  Miniature Donkeys have arrived at WesMon Miniature Horses!  Arcadian Amos and Andy, were purchased from Arcadian Exotics in Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania.  These two guys are a happy addition to our herd.  They will protect our miniature horse herd and provide us with additional options for parades.  We hope to begin training this Spring on wagon pulling duty.  Please take a look at these guys on our Miniature Donkey Page.

October 23, 2011: West Virginia University's HealthNet helicopter and crew made a recent visit to New Hill Community Park as part of testing emergency landing areas around Cassville, WV.  Blue Jeans poses with two of HealthNet's finest in front of the helicopter.  Thanks to the whole crew for allowing the neighborhood the opportunity to check out the helicopter and answering questions, it was a real treat for everyone.  Our horses are introduced to a variety of different and uncommon situations so they tend to be really calm in any situation.  When the helicopter took off, Blue Jeans looked up for a moment then went right back to grazing.

December 1, 2011:  All of the horses are here now and we are looking to downsize a bit.  Many are available - some at discounted prices.  Check out our sales page.  **Update:  Chato is sold and will be moving to Biloxi, MS.  Congratulations Ms. Gerda Glass.

August 16, 2011:  The horses are coming!  We should see the arrival of Bella, Maddie, Kota and Lili sometime this weekend, and word has it that Cortez and Diora should be arriving by the middle of next week.  Watch out in the show ring because we will have two of the prettiest movers out there shaking things up!  Next show date is August 28, 2011, at Jackson's Mill in West Virginia.

August 8-13, 2011:  This has been a busy week for WesMon.  We have spent the last week at the Monongalia County Fair and had a great time talking to all of the folks who stopped by our exhibit.  The horses were a huge hit and we hope to be a part of the festivities again next year, hopefully with a few more horses to exhibit.  I would like to send a special thanks out to everyone who helped make this fair a success.  To the fair board and Laurel Point 4-H group, thanks for taking a chance and letting us be a part of the fair.  We had a great time and would love to do it again (just a little further from the pigs, please).  To all of our assistants and handlers (Morgan, Mackenzie, Missy and Roy Slavensky), Vicky and Juli Hooks, and Cathy Sekula, your help was greatly appreciated.  To my daughter and son-in-law, Ally and Danny, I don't know what we would do without you.  The responsibility you have both shown toward the horses makes me feel safe to leave them in your care.  Last, but most definitely not least, my husband, Tony.  Without you, Honey, WesMon would still be just a dream.  It is because of you that I am truly living the dream.  I love you all and thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Stop the presses! Beautiful junior mare just purchased  August 3, 2011, from Jackpot Farms in Waverly, WV. See her on The Girls of WesMon page.  This filly was moved with her mother and we've decided to keep the mother too.  The mare has a beautiful head and a great look to her that would be a perfect addition to our breeding herd.  Pictures will be added soon.

We have just added an incredible new junior stallion and a gorgeous mare to our herd.  Check them out!

**07/14/11 update:  Two new fillies have been added to our herd.  They are on the "Girls" page.**
